Q&A with Dr. John DeNigris

Q. My psoriasis has recently been uncontrolled with topicals, what else can be done?

A. soriasis has had a lot of advances in treatment over the past decade. Getting the skin clear is becoming a reality for many people. While topicals are great options for limited, or patchy areas, of skin disease, new medications that can be taken orally or injected under the skin have revolutionized the care for patients with severe or widespread psoriasis. Each medication works differently so the treatment has to be chosen based on the patient’s specific needs. We always look to cater the treatment to your lifestyle, level of psoriatic disease involvement, and other health conditions.
