Sun Protection

You are advised to wear sunscreen with a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of 30 or higher on a daily basis. Reapply every two hours. However, if you are perspiring or swimming, it is important to reapply your sunscreen every hour.

Other ways to protect your skin from the sun include:

  • Avoidance of direct sun exposure between the hours of 10:00 am and 4:00 pm
  • Sun protective clothing
  • Heliocare® oral supplement that reduces ultraviolet-induced damage to human skin
  • SkinCeuticals® and Neova® topical antioxidants that protect the skin by mopping up free radicals that damage the skin’s DNA and adversely affect the skin’s immune system
